"Went mountain biking up the Long Trail. AWESOME!!!!!! Totally alone and beautiful!!!!! Very challenging trail. Well kept and marked. Went again today. Used my Fatboy. Can not complain one bit. A tiny bit of mud here and there, which made it even more fun. Several other riders on trail, but everyone was polite and friendly. Couple dads out there teaching their kids. How Kool is that????"

"I visited Waynestock, XVIII- both nights! The band Mischief, finished the event with an awesome rendition of "Free Bird"! T-shirts sold out for the first time ever & 824 people attended during the 2 days. It's a FREE event, donations are accepted at entry. Money is raised w/Raffles, Auctions & food. All money raised, goes to the North Country Hardship Fund. The NCHC, helps people in 4 or 5 nearby counties, who are going through unexpectedly hard times such as..."

"New lodge apart from main lodge, plenty of parking, beautiful inside, accommodating a smaller crowd. Best guess is this lodge fits families with children but most likely overtaken by everyone wanting to avoid the crowds at the main lodge."

"For the winter it is part of the Gore Mountain Ski Area. As long as the interconnecting trails are open and the Hudson chair is running there is a lot to enjoy while staying away from the crowds on the other peak. Interconnect is open so it is nice to park close to the lift there and access the whole mountain."

"Came here to cross country ski and was able to get a lesson with Gary who was a very patient, kind, and awesome instructor. The staff here are all helpful and friendly. This place has awesome trails for all levels. I came another day with my sister in law to snow shoe and found really great trails that were scenic. If you’re looking for a calm and environment with less people so you can practice cross country or down hill..."
